Bike Doctor service re-starting at ROQ and St Cross

Subject to demand, the mechanic will be running repair sessions at the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter on the second and fourth Fridays of each month, between 8.30am and 3.30pm. You can find them behind the Mathematical Institute.

On the first and third Fridays of each month, meanwhile, the service will be at the car park for the St Cross and Manor Road buildings, again from 8.30pm to 3.30pm. The mechanic can diagnose and fix simple problems with your bike, such as issues with brakes, gears or tyres.

This adds to the existing service that has been running every Friday at the Old Road Campus, in which a mechanic is available between the Big Data Institute and Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology; to use this service you need to book via a sheet that is available from midday every Thursday at the Distribution Centre in the Innovation Building.

As before, labour is free on any bike repairs but you will need to pay for any parts used. For more information, please contact the Sustainable Travel team at travel@admin.ox.ac.uk.
