Staff and Students invited to autumn cycle events

From October through December 2025, staff and students can participate in interactive workshops, receive expert advice, and pick up tips on trouble free cycling.

Highlights include face-to-face safety sessions at popular locations like the Iffley Road Sports Centre, the Freshers’ Fair in the Exam Schools, and the Innovation Building at Old Road Campus.

Attendees can see live bike-locking demonstrations by patrol officers, get advice from crime reduction experts, and ask staff any questions they have. They can also find out why Security Services encourage staff and students to sign up for the National Cycle Registeration Scheme – it greatly increases their chances of getting their bike back if it is ever stolen.

Each event is designed to offer an informative environment with something to suit cyclists of all levels of experience.

Mark your calendars for these upcoming cycle safety sessions.
