Cycle safety pop-up events planned for April and June

Come along to one of the pop-up events the University’s Security Services and Travel teams are holding over the next few weeks.

Staff, students, visitors and members of the public are all welcome to drop by – the events will run from 10am to 3pm:

Team members will be on hand to discuss safety concerns and provide good advice on how cyclists can avoid danger on the roads, with free safety gear such as hi-vis items on offer. They can also explain the impact of recent changes, such as the new Highway Code entries designed to protect cyclists and other potentially vulnerable road users.

You’ll also be able to find out about the other services the University provides to help keep staff, students and visitors safe, from free bike training and repairs to help with route planning, as well as the other ways the University can help get you on your bike, including various options to help with the cost of buying one.
